Brigit loves attention and is content being near her people.

This gorgeous girl is nothing but a big ball of fluff, silk, and purrs. She enjoys pranking the other queens by running up, batting them and running off. She is in no way sneaky because her coat is so large and in charge, we think it creates a speed barrier and slows her down as she peels away. If you saw her in the shadows, you might mistake her for a raccoon simply because she's so poofy even though she only weighs a whopping 6lb!

She loves attention and cheek rubs the most.

She will quietly assess and wait for the perfect moment to strike. The moment you sit down, Brigit is already right next to you, looking up with a face that speaks without words. Her eyes, gaze and overall facial expressions will tell you what she's after. And it's almost always pets and scratches.

On occasion, she will request a treat or play time. It would not be surprised if she were to learn how to use speaking buttons.

Brigit gets along fine with all the cats here, and since being fixed has shown even more interest in befriending cats and kittens.

Brigit could continue having litters, she is not of retiring age; at 3 years old, she is still quite young. We are only looking into retiring Brigit because although we were planning on only fixing and rehoming Barbara and Mittens due to importing two new Golden queens, we ended up bringing in a third new Golden queen that was a bit unplanned but has an excellent pedigree.

We only have so much room in our home and take extra care not to crowd the cats. That said, we are looking to retire Brigit earlier than we expected to enjoy the rest of her days soaking up rays through the window, playing with wand toys and napping next to her people.

Brigit will be sent home with her own airline approved kennel, a cat kit, which will have a few of her favorite things like her favorite treats, wet food, a cozy blanket and some toys.

She has been fixed and has also had her sutures removed. She has had her updated vaccines and updated rabies shot and received a lion cut as well. Brigit is looking for her forever home.

Barbara
Barbara

As much as I don't want to do this, as we all adore Barbara and all the wonderful kittens she has blessed us with, it's time for her to retire and enjoy just being a cat!

Barbara is an absolute joy. She is smart, sassy and full of love. She wants nothing more than to sit next to you all day and just be part of your life.

She is smart and will find her way into her treats. She doesn't care as much for people food but if you leave a bag of cat nip or freeze dried chicken laying around, clearly, you've left her a gift in a form of a puzzle. She will find a way in!

Barbara has no bad habits and enjoys the company of her people. This includes anyone willing to give her some love and attention. She also knows her name and comes when you call her.

Barbara will be fixed and ready to go to her forever home once she is finished nursing her kittens. She will be available to go home once her stitches have been removed.

Barbara rules the roost with an iron fist around here. Her daughters, Brigit and Su have tried to take over her throne on occasion and Barbara swiftly spanks them and puts them back in their place.

That said, as hilarious as it is to watch here, since she is used to being the dominant cat, we would like to find a home where she can be a single cat and simply enjoy her life with her people so there are no issues with who rules what. She is the perfect cuddle buddy for any day and time. She will seek you out actively for love and has the most adorable little face. She will look into your eyes and rub on your cheeks. Just a huge love bug.

Although we say we would like to find her a single cat home, she does perfectly fine with all of the cats here. But that is because they all know she's in charge. I would feel most comfortable letting her retire into a quiet home where she gets to relax and enjoy being the lazy sun-soaking love bug that she is!

Barbara will be sent home with her own airline approved kennel, a cat kit, which will have a few of her favorite things like her favorite treats, wet food, a cozy blanket and some toys.

She has been fixed and is recovering. She has her updated vaccines and updated rabies shot and received a lion cut as well. She will be ready to go home in June.

- Mittens -

Mittens
Mittens

Mittens is the least dignified of the queens and doesn't mind showing it. She will stalk around the house yowling until someone stops to pet her. If she feels it wasn't enough she'll continue to demand more.

She has absolutely no boundaries and will shove her face into ours to rub cheeks and noses. Mittens is the biggest sweetheart with the most loving nature.

Sometimes Mittens will have sporadic bursts of energy and do a lap around the house before dramatically flopping in front of you for love.

No matter what she does, she will usually come check in and make sure your hands still work for cheek and ear scratches.

Mittens is a very sweet cat and would do well in a home with other cats that are open to being friends.

She is not dominant in any way and would do well in a single cat home or multi cat. Although Mittens has been around a few dogs, I would not recommend she go home to one.

We would like to find a home for Mittens to enjoy the rest of her days of retirement being close to her people, where she can be loved on and give all her love to. She has a lot to give!

Mittens will be sent home with her own airline approved kennel, a cat kit, which will have a few of her favorite things like her favorite treats, wet food, a cozy blanket and some toys.

She has been fixed and is recovering. She received her updated vaccines and updated rabies shot as well. She will be ready to go home by June.

Biggles.

I've been sitting here for some time staring at a blank screen; not sure what to write or even if I should. I have been avoiding this for some time. It's a bittersweet moment for me. Of all the cats that we have, Biggles is my first love. He was the cat that showed me that it was possible to have a cat that is everything and more.

He is kind, gentle, polite, regal. Biggles truly is the definition of a king. He lets the girls eat first and waits for them to finish, even if he has his own bowl. He waits and makes sure everyone else has had their fill. (I keep an extra bowl ready because of this to make sure he always has wet food too) He is patient with the kittens and respects all the queens.

He is the most gentlemanly gentleman I have ever met.

Biggles is the most gentle creature and the most loving. He just wants attention. And will quietly wait for you to sit down before he politely asks for some.

Biggles is the sweetest cat you will ever meet. He is the one that showed me that cats are more than what I have been led to believe they are and every single one of his kittens has brought pure joy, love and happiness to every family that has brought one home.

I don't want to do this, but I know that Biggles deserves to retire and live the rest of his life being doted on every day and given the love he tremendously deserves.

He would do well in a home with another female cat but personally, I would prefer he go home with Barbara, as they are a bonded pair. I would offer a discount to anyone that is interested in bringing them home together, but understand this may be a tall ask.

Although he does fine with the boys we have here, I would rather not risk sending him home to another strange male cat.

Biggles has been around some dogs, but not recently, so would prefer a no dog home.

He would do well with children, and although he does fantastic with any small children that meet him here, I'm hoping I can find a home that has older children so he can just relax in his retirement. Or a grandparent situation, where small children come to visit and love on him on the weekends!

Biggles will be sent home with his own airline approved kennel, a cat kit, which will have a few of his favorite things like favorite treats, wet food, a cozy blanket and some toys.

He will be fixed and recovered, have his updated vaccines and updated rabies shot as well.
